I graduated top of my class from C-130 qualification at Little Rock, Arkansas (Distinguished Graduate), then spent 13 months in specialized Combat Search and Rescue mission training at Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico, where I earned Distinguished Graduate honors again. I went on to complete Squadron Officer School and upgraded to Instructor Pilot. I still actively serve today.
